Thanks to Covid-19, how and where we vote looks a little different this year.

If you're concerned about social distancing, it's easy to request an Absentee Ballot and cast your vote from the comfort of your couch! Of course, polls (located upstairs at Town Hall) will still be open on Tuesday, July 14 if you prefer to vote in person.

To request an Absentee Ballot just visit Maine Absentee Ballot Request

or call the Town office at (207) 866-2556 and they'll mail one to you!

If you vote Absentee, remember a few things:

  • You must request your ballot by July 9th.

  • Your ballot must be received by 8pm on Tuesday, July 14.

  • If you mail it back, it needs 70 cents-worth of postage because it's oversized.

  • If you want to save yourself the postage, just bring it to the secure drop box outside of the Town Office.

If you plan to vote in person:

  • Your polling location is upstairs at Town Hall.

  • Polls will be open from 7am-8pm.

  • All of the necessary precautions for safety, including masks, sanitizer, and distancing will be observed.

  • Thank you for wearing a mask to the polls!
